Spectacularly located with sea and golf views, the white-washed clifftop village of Casares has been a popular destination – and classic photo opportunity – for decades. But it’s a different side to the municipality that has really been grabbing attention, thanks to a number of exceptional estates being developed and a host of world-famous golf courses, including Finca Cortesin.
The development is divided into four phases (known as PMs) with a range of two and three bedroom apartments as well as penthouses with rooftop solariums. There is 24-hour security and there’s a barrier to enter as well as a guardhouse. Owners are issued a keyfob which gives them access to their apartment as well as to the lifts in each PM.
There are a range of amenities in the area, including banks, Chemists and clothes shops and hardware stores in Sabinillas town centre. The main state primary school is the Blas Infante which takes children from 3 – 13 years, and secondary education can be taken at either the Blas or Las Vinas schools in Manilva.
As for activities, the Estepona Orchidarium and Centro Nautico de Sotogrande are closeby. And for those who enjoy the great outdoors, there’s a choice of hiking and horse riding trails as well as watersports on offer.
